March 2022 Brides

Omg!! I am getting married on the 26th of this month. I can’t believe how time flies. Who else is getting married this month? What do you have left to do?

I am getting my marriage license, paying vendors, and making sure all the little things are done too.
Is there anything i need to keep in mind or have on my radar?

I’m getting married Saturday. Not much left to do, just clean house and organize the stuff we are bringing to the wedding. It’s been very stressful and I’m ready for it to be over!

Okay buckle in because I'm going to just sort of copy and paste the list I have from my planner for 2 weeks out! TL;DR: Reconfirm all details and communicate them to your vendors (or your DOC so they can do it for you), pick up any auxiliary items (stationery, etc), get your rings cleaned, pack early, and take some time to relax 💛

(please ignore if long lists overwhelm you! trust that you've taken care of everything and that it will all be beautiful!)

    2 Weeks Out

    - Prepare unpaid vendor balances and cash gratuities in marked envelopes
    - Begin to watch the weather (unless that will stress you out too much)
    - Pick up your veil or headpiece and other accessories if you haven't already
    - Groom: get a haircut if needed
    - Reconfirm wedding day styling services and timeline
    - Finalize seating plan
    - Pick up reception stationery and put escort cards in alphabetical order and organize table spefic pieces by table number
    - Provide timeline, final layout, final guest count, and final vendor list to ceremony and reception venues as needed
    - Reconfirm ceremony details with officiant and any readers/other participants
    - Review seating details for ushers if needed
    - Reconfirm all details and final timeline, layout, guest count, and vendor list to photographer and videographer
    - Reconfirm all details including delivery, set-up, and breakdown instructions with the bakery
    - Assign a designated person to collect your cake topper and cake leftovers
    - Reconfirm all details, and provide final timeline, layout, & vendor list to the ceremony, cocktail, and reception entertainment.
    - Reconfirm all details, including schedule and pick up location details, and provide final timeline to all transportation providers.
    - Confirm final guest count for the rehearsal dinner and reconfirm final details with venue.
    - Compose toasts for the rehearsal dinner.
    - Request a hold on mail and newspaper delivery while you are away (if leaving town)
    - Provide your honeymoon travel itinerary to a family member and friend in case of an emergency (if leaving soon after your wedding)
    - Arrange a date to deliver (or have picked up) the items to be delivered to wedding coordinator during wedding week.
    - Reconfirm all details, and provide final timeline, layout, guest count & vendor list to the caterer.
    - Reconfirm all details, and provide final timeline, layout, guest count & vendor list to the bartending service.
    - Schedule dress cleaning and preservation for after the wedding, if desired.
    - Assemble favors, if desired.
    - Reconfirm all details, including delivery, set-up, and breakdown schedule with floral designer.
    - Reconfirm all details, and provide final timeline, layout, & vendor list to the hair and makeup stylist(s).
    - Reconfirm all details, and provide final timeline, layout, & vendor list to the officiant.
    - Reconfirm all details, including set-up and breakdown schedule with rental company.

    1 Week Before
    - Prep and pack all wedding items and supplies for the wedding day.
    - Pack an overnight bag for the wedding night and determine how it will get to the hotel.
    - Show a bridesmaid or family/friend how to bustle the train.
