March wedding - when should i send invitations?

My original plan was to send our invitations out the first of December because we are having a destination wedding and I need RSVPs by January 29th. However, after a very difficult few months with FH’s teenage daughter and not knowing if we were cancelling or what, we have decided we are moving forward with our wedding in March 13th. Of course now we are on a much shorter time table than I wanted.
I can’t decide if I should drop the invitations tomorrow or Thursday (Christmas Eve) with the expectation that they will arrive to people by December 31 giving 29 days before RSVP deadline. Or should I wait and drop them after Christmas expecting them to arrive around January 4th giving a week less before RSVP deadline.
Thoughts?

    I’d do the option that gives your guests more notice (aka send them tomorrow/Thursday)!

    With a destination wedding, I would drop them off ASAP. The mail has been so slow lately. I dropped mine off almost 2 weeks ago and I still have guest that haven’t received theirs.


    Plus it’s nice to have one more thing checked off the list.

    That was my plan for sure but unfortunately things got out on hold for a while so now we are down to much less time. Ugh!
    I was thinking tomorrow for exactly the reason of having it off the list. Lol

    The mail is so backed up right now with all of the holiday package deliveries! I would get them out sooner rather than later because I think the USPS is going to be backed up for a few more weeks while they clear through all this holiday volume,

    ASAP, and if you have any that you can hand deliver I would. Also as you connect with people over the holiday (phone, text, zoom, whatever) give them a heads up it’s coming so they can be on the lookout/let you know if it doesn’t come.

    I would drop them off ASAP. I’m also having a March wedding (March 12). I have some people who are just receiving them and some who still haven’t after them being sent out in the beginning of December. It’s a hit or miss type of thing unfortunately.

    More than a month ahead for replies is way too early. They are usually due back 2-3 weeks ahead. Invites are sent out 6-8 weeks ahead standard.

    I'd probably do that ASAP, thus giving guests more time to reply etc.

    Our wedding is March 6th. We sent our invitations out around thanksgiving and asked for the rsvp by February 1st

    I would drop them ASAP especially with the delayed mail with USPS.
