Maroon or Plum?

Both are beautiful! I was also torn between those four bridesmaid dresses (despite my spring wedding!). Our church has light burgundy carpet though, so we ended up going with plum so the dresses weren't clashing with the carpet in photos. Does your church (or the barn) have any colors that could clash with either?

We did plum for ours and it was really beautiful.

Will you have another color to accentuate it?

What other colors do you want in the mix? Maroon says winter to me whereas plum is more versatile.

I'm using plum as the bridesmaid dress color and I love how it looks!

We were torn too but ended up going with wine/maroon, navy, and gold. I found maroon to be a more flattering color - when I initially said plum, my bridesmaids weren't quite sold on it haha

I felt kind of bad that I'm going with a burgundy (wine according to davids bridal). One of my bridesmaids has a beautiful plum dress she wore to her sister's wedding a few years ago but she insisted that I not change colors on her behalf and she'd simply get the same dress in burgundy. I still feel kind of bad but she assures me it's not a problem at all.

Could you do a range of colors from maroon to plum? Like the trend that people have different shades of a color but yours would be more deep colors? I'm getting married in sept and thinking of this but not sure. Maybe that's too much going on.

We did both Our wedding colors were jewel tones. So our decor was mostly dark blue, emerald, and plum accented with copper or gold. Bridesmaids wore plum dresses and the guys wore dark gray. The flowers consisted of dark pink roses and maroon dahlias with lots of greenery. The flowers really popped with the dresses. Our girls also had teal & dark blue ribbon hanging from their bouquets.

Plum for an October wedding would be really pretty.
