Hello everyone! For all those who changed their last name, how many copies of your marriage license did you need, if any? I live in Texas and am wondering if I need to make certified copies of the license for places to keep (DMV, the bank, passport, etc) or can I just show them my original license...

Hello everyone! For all those who changed their last name, how many copies of your marriage license did you need, if any? I live in Texas and am wondering if I need to make certified copies of the license for places to keep (DMV, the bank, passport, etc) or can I just show them my original license and then they give it back to me? Any advice on this is greatly appreciated!

Ok yeah I’ll definitely be getting a copy for my passport, I don’t want to mail my only one. Thanks!
