Married Brides: Is the myth truth?

While this might be true I think it's more true for those who haven't lived together before marriage. Living together for the first year is a trying time married or not. I have been living with my husband for at least 3 years now. Not much is different. We have been fine going about our day to day. Our year of engagement was our toughest year I think. There's no more added stress. We have been going back and forth about our honeymoon because we have different ideas of where to go and what to spend, but it'll get sorted out. It has to, we are planning for January!

Nope we were already living together so maybe that helped? We just celebrated our 1 year with our 3 month old and still wasn't so bad!

I haven't heard this myth before but like others I presume this myth stems from the days when couples didn't live together before getting married. It's a big adjustment living with someone else but if you work at it and get things sorted out you'll be fine. That being said, I've heard the second decade of marriage is tough for many couples.

We were together 4 years, 1 of them living together before getting married. Now's our 2nd year living together but as a married couple, things are completely normal and I would say starting to live with him already married would've been harder for us since we had to get used to many differences, than the position we are now. It's the same, but married. And things haven't changed 💕
