Married ladies: Did you cry!?

Joanna G, on August 9, 2013 at 8:47 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 21

I happy cry all the time. I am a big sap and can't help it. I've cried at every wedding I've attented or seen on tv. I think I will cry at my own wedding but what if I don't!? Lol. Did you cry and are you a big crier anyway?

I didn't cry at my first wedding.

I may cry this time if FH tears up. I cry with people or because other people are. I'm not much of a crier myself.

I cry at EVERYTHING. I cry at all my friends weddings, I cry at tv weddings, I cry at baby announcements. But I did not cry at my wedding! The only time I cried was actually during our best man's speech. He brought up something very special between the two of us that I almost forgot about and it was really touching.

DH though, HE BAWLED when I walked down the aisle. Straight ugly cried. It was amazing. His emotion made it so much sweeter.

I am a HUGE crier. However, when BIG things happen, it all changes. I didn't really cry when he proposed and I cried for a few seconds here and there on the day of. It's weird how that happens but I'm glad because that saved me from having snot drip down my face as I walked down the aisle.

I'm a major crybaby. I'm so happy that my makeup artist will be staying for the entire night (she's my cousin's gf and a professional MAC makeup artist) so she can fix my face every 5 minutes. LOL

I did tear up/cry a bit during our vows. DH also got teary eyed when I walk down the aisle. I also cried a bit during my parent's speech at the reception. It was so sweet.

I think I'll start crying while getting dressed, as I come down the walkway to the alter, during vows, all up until I get some alcohol in my system lol jk

I cried at mine. But wasn't super teary, I was just choked up during my vows. For the rehearsal, our officiants kept saying to look the other person in the eye as you say them. I said the first sentence, looked at DH, then broke down. It took me FOREVER to finally cry my way through them haha. I remember the last two words "in love" were barely a whisper.

I'm usually a cry-er (have at just about every wedding I've been to), but I held off the tears until communion. DH and I were sitting on a little mini pew by the altar, and he prayed for us for our future together. THAT got me.

Also when I surprised my mom with my bouquet instead of doing a bouquet toss. I had asked the DJ to play the song from Brave in the background, and when she figured out what I was doing and started ugly crying, so did I.

I cried when my MOH made her speech. I have been friends with her for almost 10 years. So it was hard not to with all the great memories she brought up! But at the alter different story my dress was so damn tight and it was so hot in there that I thought I was gonna pass out... so I was more focused on breathing than crying lol
