Married ladies: what do you wish you did at your wedding?

I almost never wear earrings but I bought some very delicate filigree silver earrings to match the design of my dress… they never made it on me. I didn’t mind because it was honestly my most authentic self. I’ve been looking for an occasion to wear them though! I also forgot to put in my contacts rather than staying in my glasses… but in the end I think I instinctively went with what I feel most comfortable in.

I lost a lot of wight just before - I shoud have done it months before to be ready while looking for a dress...

I wish I had a day of coordinator

I wish I'd asked the caterer to box up our food, so we didn't end up making a McDonald's run at midnight.

I wish i designated more time for photography. there were poses i wanted to do and props i wanted to use but we ran out of time, so i feel like i wish i had planned for that better,

I wish we had made it more clear that there was a candy buffet and a late night snack. The candy buffet was set up on the right side of the room and unless guests were up and mingling they didn't really see the candy buffet. The late night snack was set up about an hour before the reception ended on the left side of the room and again those on the opposite side of the room didn't see it and others were too full so I wish we would have either had a sign with the menu on it including the candy bar or little display menus on each table.

I second this! we had a photo booth and I wish I had taken photos with more people! I didn't even get pictures with some of our good friends. the night honestly went by so fast!

The only thing I can think of is that I wish we would have made sure to get at least 1 of the cupcakes. My cousin (a pastry chef who made our cake) made darn sure that a good-sized slice of cake made it to our hotel room, so that was good. But we specifically paid another friend to make funfetti cupcakes for the wedding since that's my husband's favorite flavor. They looked amazing and we hear she did a really good job, but we never had a chance to have one at the wedding and no cupcakes made their way to the hotel room. By the time we picked everything up from the venue the next day they were all gone :-(
