Married Life: What are you looking forward to?

As others have said, being able to call him my husband signfies to the rest of the world my commitment to him. BF never was right after 9 (now 10) years.

Also combining our finances and working towards buying a house soon.

Looking forward to starting a family and very fortunately for me, a tax break!

Having money for remodeling our 1950s house instead of saving it all for the wedding. I've had a 75% done master bedroom for 6 months.

My favorite thing is wearing my wedding band and calling him my husband pretty much nothing else has changed about my everyday life. I'm actually not loving the name change, still getting used to it!

Officially referring to him as my Husband and me as his Wife (we have been together for over 10 years - it'll be 11 years when we get married (with a 20 month engagement)). People say that we act like husband and wife already - but I can't wait to actually be husband and wife.

We also cannot wait to start a family (it'll be about a year of "stopping sexy time" by the time we get married) - so much will power. FH is being super sweet about it - he knows that I originally wanted to wait until marriage - so he agreed to "stop" for the time being.

ETA: Also - getting a house. We would LOVE to build -- so here is to hopping that'll happen.
