Maryland best wedding weather months

Jules, on February 11, 2017 at 3:09 PM Posted in Maryland Planning 1 12

I am stuck between having our wedding in either May or September in Maryland. Can anyone offer insight as to which one is best weather wise?

What part of Maryland? Baltimore area where it gets real hot and muggy I would say early may or mid to late September between those two. I'm getting married mid April in Elkridge maryland because it is warm but not unbearably hot. I would probably saw September though cause that seems to be the most consistently comfortable. May can go either way.

I don't know about the weather in Maryland specifically, but September is usually warmer than May since it is summertime.

I'm choosing between 5/19, 9/1, 9/8, and 9/15. I have narrowed it down to either 5/19 or 9/15. The wedding will be in Carroll county, md. Outdoor wedding/barn reception.

I'm in Delaware and I'd say September over May. May can be really hot but in Sept even if it's hot there's usually a breeze.

May. September is often too hot and humid. I live in Northern VA.

I'm in south central PA- just over the Mason Dixon. Carroll county is only about 20 minutes from me!

September can still be super hot early on. I'd suggest going with May.

I was born and raised in Columbia Md and I would say September for sure. We are getting married in Sept (in Va Beach) because it's by far the best time of year.

Tough choice because both months can offer nice weather especially for a barn theme, however I do love the Fall season in MD. Are costs lower for September since May is usually high season for anything wedding related? Maybe that will help..

Lol well if this week was any indication you know that MD weather is totally bipolar. (For anyone not from MD- we had almost 70-degree weather on Wednesday and SNOW on Weds. night into Thursday).

If it were me, I would pick September because I think its still more summery- May is still pretty bipolar, one day warm one day rainy and cool- I wouldn't want to risk that!

Yeah September would be better. We initially wanted September but they were all booked so went with first of October. Also in Maryland!

Jessica M, I'm in GB too. We are doing September because it's still warm during the day but not muggy and cooler at night time.
