I also have heard that various rec centers in the area can be nice. One caterer I talked to suggested the White Oak Community Center. http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/rec/where/centers/whiteoak.html. Not sure of cost or capacity!

Try Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown. You might not get the chevari chairs, but the auditorium can seat everyone and it’s a cool venue. Lots of BBQ places to choose from on but there’s also Canapés Catering out of Frederick

Try The Villa in Beltsville (near Silver Spring)... if not, maybe their owner, Uptown Catering, may have some suggestions or other venues under their belt. And FYI The Villa includes Chivari chairs and some basic decor in the cost... and even a wedding planner.
