Mason Jar Centerpieces w/pictures (updated)

FutureMrsWade, on April 18, 2014 at 10:57 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

These are what I came up with today! I wanted to change a few things (maybe burlap/burlap bow around tallest mason jar, more carnations, and cut down on baby's breath height) the color of carnations is off, but it's surprisingly hard to find varying shades of purple locally. I am ordering a mix of them from fiftyflowers.com so hopefully they are what I have imagined in my mind. I am also thinking about getting some varying shades of purple jewels to scatter around, what do you all think? Would jewels be too much?

I think they are very pretty. I'd say burplap or even wrap the twine around the middle of the larger mason jar, to give some varriance. I think you have enough carnations, I agree that cutting the baby's breath shorther would work better. I like it as is, without jewels, are you you having runners or table cloths?

Yes, we will have a lavender table linen and I am debating on a burlap topper or maybe ivory topper. Thanks for the tips!

Agree with the baby's breath, another thing that mite help is make the carnations different lengths so they look more natural. What are you doing for table cloths? A runner would look really neat with your centerpiece.

Love your concept I'm so glad you tried it out Smiley smile

I would say no jewels then. I am also doing mason jars (wrapped in burlap and lace) and I will have ivory table cloths and burlap runners. I got my runners for $6 each at Hobby Lobby on sale. It was cheaper that renting a topper.

They always have mobile coupons and the burlap items seems to be on sale every other week to every two weeks.
