Mason jar centerpieces

Adoretamm, on April 11, 2015 at 10:45 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

I got my mason jars ready to do the centerpieces. Of course I'm not doing them now but each week I'm starting to buy one item for the wedding since I have over a year left. I got 12 pint size and 12 quart size jars. Should I switch one out? For those doing mason jars centerpieces what size are you using?

I am, but I'm using antique ones. That said, they are all different sizes which to me adds character.

I was thinking of having like one table with a 16 and the next with a 32... I just don't know if it'll look weird or not.

I think it depends what you're putting inside of them. I had to go with 32 because the flowers i'm using are too big for 16

I'm putting a quart sized jar with a floral arrangement in the middle of all the tables. Then halfway down on each side I'm putting a pint sized jar with river rocks at the bottom, filled with water, and a tealight floating inside, with a twine bow tied around the mouth of the jar.

I am using a 250,500, and 1L. They wi have floating candles in them and babies breath around and are sitting on a reflective charger. Simple. Maybe some ribbon tired to add color.

Something else to consider is the size of your tables and the way the rest of the items on your table are going to be arranged. Im going with a 32 and 2 pint mason jars because the tables are massive. If I did just one, the table over powers the arrangement...im using baby's breath and floating candles. Hope this helps! Great idea, I should start buying a case a week to get started.
