Masquerade Wedding help!

Maggie, on July 16, 2012 at 4:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7

I am having a masquerade wedding theme and it appears my guests are all very confused as to what this entails... Any ideas on how to convey the theme/attire to my guests?

Also, I had found this centerpiece in an older post but can't find where to purchase it does anyone know???

Yay! I did a masquerade wedding once! It was so fun. They bridal party walked down the aisle with masks on and removed them when they reached the altar. The ladies had masks with the handles.

if you expect your guests to wear masks to the wedding it needs to be specifically stated on the invite. OR, will you be providing masks? I think that would be more successful. You can have them set up at the entrance and let you guests pick on they like. It can be their favor.

no idea about the centerpiece, but before you get a candelabra, make sure your venue allows open flame.

    Welcome to WW Maggie

Your save the dates or invites should be able to set the mood.

    Maybe get a scroll invite?

Are you thinking very formal and/or black tie attire?

Are you providing masks for them?

Here is the centerpiece you're looking for

Looks to be about $65.00 each centerpiece.

Are you asking for guests to be in a specific attire? Will you be providing masks?

I was thinking of providing masks as the favor that way if people don't come decked out they are still encouraged to participate.
