Matron of Honor Gift

Risa, on October 14, 2020 at 12:29 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 7

Hey Guys,

My matron of honor has been out of this world helpful. She's taken on more than I could ever ask to help with all the stress of rescheduling and now planning a covid safe party. Her birthday is the week after my wedding. Any ideas on a great gift to say thank you to someone who would never accept any sort of a thanks! She's a mom of two girls 18 months and 3...I'd think of spa day but that's just not realistic in these times. Suggestions welcome!

If you're still wanting a 'spa day' or 'relaxation day' sort of gift, you could always give her a gift basket filled with her favorite things! Not sure how close you two are living wise, but you could also offer to babysit or find someone she usually gets to babysit so she can have a day/night to herself!

I'm also all about gifts that are useful, and can hold meaning. If she wears jewelry, maybe something simple and elegant that she can wear either daily or can make versatile? That way when she wears it, she can remember your day, and how much she means to you!

I agree with Shelly. A basket with her favorite things would be nice. You could even fill it with manicure/ pedicure sets, bubble bath, etc. Maybe even a gift card for her favorite place to eat so she can skip cooking dinner for one night. As a mom of 4 I can definitely say anytime that's even just a few minutes for myself is amazing and if I could skip cooking dinner for one night it's like a vacation lol

Shop for her like it's her birthday. Whatever her personal interests and hobbies are that she can enjoy long after the wedding. Maybe browse Etsy.

Thank you! it's so hard to get her to do something for herself! Loved the gift card idea and got her a gift card to her favorite restaurant around the corner! She definitely could use a break from cooking!!
