Absolutely agree. My personal preference was to only have my favorite person whose always been there for me and always has my back and my best interest at heart as a maid/matron and all my other friends would be bridesmaids. I'm one who only believes you can only have one bff, one maid/matron, one best man other wise those titles are meaningless.

A lot of people rarely have one best friend, in any stage of life, but always 1 or more groups . Without any 1 individual dominating. To eac her own.

I only ever had one best friend. I would never consider calling another friend a best friend other wise to me the title is complete bs. I have a friend that calls just about all her friends bfs and I told her from day one not to call me her bf because it's a pointless title then. That's just my personal opinion and how I have always been and feel about special titles.

For me, that is true too. But who that is has changed with time and moving around. Why I had a hometown growing up friend, and from a different city, one from work and school, and one in army years all far from here, and my godmother was MOH.
I always have a lot of friends, but aside from hubby, one best at a time, for years.

Oh ok I get what you mean. I've had 1 best friend at a time throughout different stages of my life as well.

Honey it’s your wedding. You can have as many of whatever as you want as long as you’re happy and it fits the vision you have for your wedding. Nothing will lose its meaning. As long as the people you have chosen are ok with the titles then it is what it is.

In my opinion, it's your day. Do whatever you want!!! There's enough to stress about with wedding planning right now. Your girls that are your support system shouldn't be one of those stressful things!
