Mauve and manic

I had mauve roses in my bouquet. They’re called amnesia roses. By themselves they almost look like they have a brown tint, but with other flowers they look great.

It was pretty easy to remove the outside petals. They're mostly there to protect the inner petals anyway. I didn't wear any roses in my hair unfortunately.

Have you talked to your florist about this? I really wanted navy hydrangeas as part of our decorations... well, those don’t exist. I spoke to our florist and they made them exist lol. Florist can do a lot with paint and food coloring and you’d have no idea it wasn’t a natural color.

I had some mauve flowers in my bouquet. my bridesmaid dresses were a lighter dusty rose and the flowers in our bouquets were a little darker. the darker flowers in here were a mix of garden roses and lisianthus. your florist should be able to help and suggest some specific types of flowers that fall into that color scheme!

The first florist was actually just a family friend that use to arrange flowers and I was having to decide what to get. She had a family thing and felt like she couldn’t commit anymore. Totally fine, and I found another florist, one that is not a family friend, but she’s not very responsive when I text her. And is haven’t met her yet.

I hope everything works out for you! I think you would feel better if you actually met with your florist and showed her some pics of what you want. I didn't really communicate a whole lot with mine in between our initial meeting and the wedding day!

View Quoted Comment Thanks! I texted her several pictures and asked if we could have a face to face meeting. She didn’t decline the offer, but she said she would call with a total tomorrow. I’ll just have to wait and see. Thanks for all the help!
