May 2020 brides!

Hey fellow May 2020 bride!! Congratulations!

I think I'm pretty far in the planning. The only vendors we have left to nail down is the bakery for our cake and someone to do my hair the day of. We've got the venue, photographer, DJ, DOC, officiant and caterer! Aside from that, we still have to get FH's and the wedding party attire. This is my dress! I do like it, but I'm not "in love" with it, so we'll see where that goes lol

However I have the venue, dress, and a good idea of everything else. I think everything else I'd like will go against his family a bit, so kinda waiting it out if I'm honest.

Hi. I have sent my save the dates, bought the invites, bought all my centerpieces, bought all set up (containers, trays, stands and jars etc) for dessert bar and candy bar, bought wedding dress (no pick scared my son or bf will see it). Also appointment set for my bridesmaids dresses. I'm right on schedule but I should have my officiant according to the app.

Hi everyone! I think I am pretty far ahead in the planning process. I have bought my dress, we have booked our ceremony/reception venue, sent out save the dates and purchased an invitation template, booked everything for the honeymoon, booked our photographer and have had engagement pictures done, booked hotel blocks, booked caterer, chose an officiant, booked hair and makeup, and bought FH's ring. We are down to the smaller stuff now that I'll have to DIY like centerpieces, flowers, etc.

Hello, fellow May brides!

We're not too far... I feel like we are kind of half-assing this wedding... We have a venue booked, it's all inclusive so we haven't got to worry about where to have the ceremony, etc. We have an officiant. We sent out our Save the Dates. We've been collecting bits and pieces from various and sundry people who are getting rid of wedding 'stuff', we have designed our centerpieces, and are interviewing a photographer soon. Major vendors still to contract with: florist, DJ, cake, finding a hair person, etc. We do have a budget worked out and are using a checklist, but we don't seem to be super organized. Oh well! So long as we get married, it'll be fine!

Yay congrats!!!!! It's coming so soon now, only like 7 months!!

We have our venue secured, we are have a deposit with the DJ/MC/Photographer/Videographer, had our cake tasting yesterday and are going to put down the deposit with her this week, then next week we have the tasting with our caterer. I'm doing flowers from Etsy and will get those around March. We picked out and designed our STDs and Invites, and are going to get the STDs and send them out this month.

My dress is my mother's and I just need to go to my aunt who is a seamstress (and the only person I trust to touch the dress) and have the sleeves worked on.

We're doing MOH and BM dresses through Azazie and I want to get them in January.

Mostly focusing on some decor aspects right now, through Etsy and Amazon.

Hello fellow May 2020 brides! I feel like I’ve made some progress but at the same time feel behind. I have my venue which is all inclusive so the caterer is done but still need to have a tasting to nail down the menu. Cake is provided but I need to decide between two shops and do some tastings. I have an idea of how I want it to look though. My venue also provides flowers for the gazebo and aisle but again need to pick from two different vendors and I haven’t done that either. I’m doing my own flowers for bouquets, boutonnières and centerpieces. I’ve just recently gathered all the florals for those but I still need to put them together. I have my centerpiece pieces as well but haven’t quite figured out how to execute it lol. I’ve sent my save the dates out and my website is finished. My first dress appointment is Oct 7th which I feel is pushing it but my budget for a dress is low so I’m more or less going to see the styles I like on myself and I’ll probably have to buy off the rack or online which I’m nervous about but it is what it is. I have collected little things like card box, ceremony signs, cake knife, mr and mrs wood pierced for sweetheart table, picture frames and printed signs. I have other things I know I’m going to get but haven’t. I’ve booked my photographer and officiant but still need to book a dj. I’ve designed my invites but still need to print them. Basically a lot of stuff is half done lol. Man there is a lot to wedding planning, even now as I type this out I’m getting overwhelmed. Haha

May 2020 here can’t wait! Venue, save the date send out, dress out the way , dj, bridesmaids dress out the way, cake, photographer, engagement pictures done, just small stuff in working on now

Things are moving right along, although we're kind of in a lull, right now. We have a venue, DJ, photographer, caterer, I have my dress, we've done engagement photos and STDs are done and ready to send out (in a couple weeks), invitations are designed and ordered. I have my artificial flowers picked out (bouquets/bouts/corsages), just not ordered yet.

Still need an officiant, and a baker for our dessert table, as well as men's attire, and we need to book our honeymoon. I think things are going pretty smoothly, and everything is on track for our May 30, 2020 wedding!! Here's a pic of my dress!
