If you have all your big vendors booked, decor and centerpieces can come much later. Favors aren't even necessary. Because we have all but the littlest things worked out, I'm going to wait until March/April to even think about any further actions on our June 15th date.

So cool that your dad is a JP. I think it would be so sweet to be married by a parent of the couple!

And at 27 you have PLENTY of time before worrying about kids. Smart to wait a bit until finances are a bit more secure. This pandemic has sure been rough!

Fingers crossed things are much better sooner and we can all start actually looking forward to celebrations again!

I’m hopeful and optimistic that everything will be better by May 2021! All of my planning has been just fine. No vendors or anything seem skeptical, they’re all expecting it to be normal too. We don’t plan on making anyone wear masks if our venue doesn’t make us.

Super nervous, planning to reschedule for October 2021. We have travelers coming from out of state and want to have them come. We are planning for a small wedding around 65 people anyway so cutting people wouldn’t be hard, but we don’t want a wedding with masks. What are your thoughts??

Planning sucks, I'm not only working a hospital through all of this but trying to plan my wedding. May 22, 2021 I'm struggling with vendors and getting pricing and what not because all the changes dates have made it difficult to contact vendors. I'm hoping 2021 is better as of right now covid patients at least in colorado are less sick then they were. If things don't get any better I'm thinking about just eloping!

Ive gotten semi lucky with my town when it comes to a venue, but my original one wont be opening up anytime soon. We are hoping by May this is all over, but if not my maid of honor already has a plan

A little stressed but hopeful! we’re keeping a positive outlook on our planning, but also getting stressed just with how much i feel like i have to do now. I’m just hoping things calm down so we don’t have to push back. It’ll be our wedding date regardless, just hoping that all our friends and family will be able to make it!

Uncertain. However, we have been very lax in our planning. Perhaps it's time to put it into high-gear this month! LOL

I may be naive, but why is everyone talking about being stressed. I'm trying to find out what causes the most stress and so on. I feel like I'm either blind or lucky at this juncture! LOL

I have been slowly planning my wedding, but since everything is so up in the air, I don't want to plan too much. I have my venue booked. My colors, some decorations, Save the Dates, and the guest list done. We currently have 114 people on our guest list and my fiancé is going to be so upset if he cannot invite everyone since majority of those numbers are his family and friends lol. I am just hoping we can have that many attend some May 2021. I also did not realize just how much everything costs. I am flabbergasted over the prices of what it is going to cost. Especially a photographer Smiley surprise .

Our planning is going just fine, the only thing is that we've had to jump on vendors fast because everyone around here has been rescheduling their weddings for May.

We aren't worried about what's going on, and are thinking things will be pretty much back to normal by May. We are set on our date and won't be postponing, especially since we are only having about 60 guests in an outdoor venue.

Scared but hopeful we can host our celebration after moving it by almost a year. Lost some friends during the pandemic since they thought this was a hoax, so we will probably have a smaller guest list, which is fine. We want to celebrate with true friends and loved ones. Orig date was 7/18/2020 new 5/22/2021. I will say a prayer for all of you that your special day happens the way you want it to. 💕

I wouldn’t say i’m stressed about covid, more just about what all i have to plan in the sense of where everything will go. ours is a destination wedding, so i have to make sure that everyone can get here and more than just it being local since nobody lives at our wedding location!

We are getting married in NYC, and have friends and family flying in from all over the US and abroad, so perhaps I need to be less cavalier and get things moving! Haha

We were lucky, I suppose. All the venues we looked at had availability for May. We chose May more so based on our church's availability than venue. We got engaged in May and didn't start planning until last month! LOL

My wedding was originally scheduled for Nov 21, 2020 but because I was told that due to covid if I kept my wedding for it’s original date no one in my family would come! So we moved it to May....... it’s mostly completely planned since the date was originally in November but putting the finishing touches on it is stressful cause due to covid every place for cakes and etc. only allows me and my fiancé to go to and my mother is so not happy about that cause in her eyes I’m apparently taking the wedding planning away from her.
