Hi ladies! We set our wedding date for May 15, 2021 before the pandemic was even a thought. We felt very safe in our date up until recently we now don’t know what to think. We are getting married in Falmouth, MA. We do have the option to do everything outside. What is everyone thinking for May?

It’s a very tough decision because I wish my best friends could be there! But we just don’t want the stress of agonizing for the next 4 months haha. Our venue is Glen Magna Farms, they’ve been so wonderful to work with and I hope we can go forward with our plans.

Hi Mass bride here as well! We were originally supposed to get married June 2020.. than August 2020.. now June 2021. I am being told by my venue that I cannot move my wedding date until April or I will lose my deposit. If April rolls around and no dance floor is still a thing, I will sadly have to move to 22. The dance floor is something I am not willing to compromise on because I want my family and friends to celebrate (plus my dj had to be paid in full on my original date and I don't want to lose the money) This has all been so hard, lots of tears, but hoping that this spring/summer looks better for all of us! I heard NYC is allowing 150 people wedding starting in March, so hopefully Baker will do the same! Best of luck xo!

I feel you on this! I was supposed to be last June.. than last August... and now this June! I have come this far and I don't want to sacrifice everything we have worked/planned for! Baker is super strict and the no dance floor is an absolute deal breaker for me! In NH people are having their wedding basically like normal, and now NYC is allowing weddings of 150 in March... hopefully baker does the same! Best of luck to you!!!

Now that NY, CT, and NJ are easing restrictions for weddings, I'm hoping that MA will too. But if they don't, we are just going to go ahead anyway and pay the fine. At this point, the money I would lose by cancelling is more than the amount of the fine, and I just want to get this thing done. A 25 person outdoor cap is not reasonable, so I don't feel the need to follow it.

Will be getting married 5/30/21 in downtown Boston! We postponed from Labor Day weekend 2020 last year, and won’t be postponing again. We are getting married at a restaurant (The Palm) and will be doing our tasting next week, so I am hoping things will be on track, but WHO KNOWS! We are both from out of state, so would be having many travelers, so we don’t expect a high headcount (I would say maybe 50 people???) which is fine with us! Just worried about the “no dance floor/bar service stuff” Smiley sad

In the news stories I've seen, it's a few hundred bucks, if any fines happen at all
