Looking for people specifically getting married on May 30th - are you thinking of postponing yet? waiting to hear more? Have you sent invites yet? Just looking for guidance during this stressful time. Hope you’re all staying healthy

My fitting was THIS weekend -- April 4th. I was so excited because I was finally going to get to see my dress completed for the first time. I live in the DMV and DC, MD, and VA all put in place a stay at home order. I am in MD but alot of my guest, including my maid of honor are in VA and there order is until June 10th! So May 30th is way out of the window. We reschedule for August 29, I just hope everything is calm by then. Best of luck!

Hi all - Any updates from any of you?? We are in Iowa - where no stay at home order has been placed. Really unsure how to move forward!
    Thank you!

We decided to postpone to October, and it was the right decision but very difficult. I live in Chicago but I’m from and we are getting married in Nashville. Stay at home orders in both cities that are expected to be extended - ugh. Good luck to everyone!!

I know, it's so tough! no shelter in place for your state but are their guidelines on the amount of people who should gather at one time? I would keep listening for updates from your Governor. One thing we were thinking of was that if we did end up keeping it (seems like a long shot in CA now), that we would send everyone an email and said "only come if you are comfortable with that, please don't come if you are sick or experiencing any symptons etc.)

Also a May 30th bride. We have been planning for a year and most of our guests are coming from out of town/state. Invitations were sent before COVID so people could make travel arrangements. My venue is great as we are both members of a private, member-run, yacht club. I've contacted all my vendors and they are on standby just in case we have to reschedule. Hoping and praying we will be over this by then! However, based on all the medical speculation and publications... I think there will be some kind of social restrictions well into next year. Our wedding is very small (40-50) so I think we will be fine. We will make our final decision on April 30th. We have already let everyone know what the plan is and to keep an eye on the wedding website for updates.

CA, WA, and OR announced they will have a plan for COVID go forward, and social distancing regulations tomorrow at noon. So we are waiting for some more up to date info before we decide. We had planned to decide first week of May. Best wishes we still get to have it!

We have been in close contact with our venue, and our governor here in TN is encouraging small gatherings, but not enforcing it. As of now, we are going forward with the wedding and providing masks for all of our guests.

Our venue made the decision for us, as they cancelled our event and we’ve postponed until December 19. Very sad about that as I was still holding out some hope to have a wedding that day. Nonetheless we are still working on updating our guests.
