You can skip the favors. Favors aren’t really important and I think you got enough stress on your plate. Is their anything else you need to do? Like getting a marriage license, having attire, getting all the vendors you want on your wedding day?

If you feel like you have to do favors, the best ones that usually get taken instead of forgotten are food related. Otherwise I’d say skip them because they usually get left behind.


Here’s my list of things still to do at this point, my wedding is the week before yours:Venue walkthroughConfirm rehearsal dinner menuCoordinate music with DJOrder printed materials (signs & menus)Send final guest count to catererFinalize officiant scriptBuy alcoholGet marriage licenseGet ring cleaned
Other than that I think I just need to make a list of everything we need to bring to the venue and make sure a few people have copies so nothing gets left behind afterwards.
I’m big into lost making and overwhelmed just means you don’t know where to start, so make a list, figure out what needs done when and then tackle everything in order.

Don’t forget to order any random extra things too, I just did this the other week and got our guestbook, card box, pjs for the bridal party to get ready in, petals for the flower girl, and ribbon sticks that the guests are waving as we walk out of the ceremony (our photographer suggested this in lieu of grand exit and it looks so cute!).

I’ll be doing snack boxes for anyone who wants them! I feel like most people throw favors away anyway
