May I see your welcome table decor?

Elissa, on August 20, 2017 at 5:08 PM Posted in Married Life 0 12

I'm using turquoise, aqua and gold and have no idea what to do for my welcome table. I will have engagement pictures of the two of us and my card box which is turquoise and gold but not sure what else I can add. I would like to see some ideas of what everyone did? Thanks!

I think one of the most important decor factors is scale. Too many people use a bunch of small things trying to fill in space. Use a substantial size picture and add a similar size floral arrangement.

Mine was pretty simple - a welcome sign, a love sign our card box and guest book.

I have never heard of a "welcome table" until right this minute.

We had a table with a card box and our "guest book" map puzzle.

@Muriel good advice about scale. I'm thinking about a welcome sign, our initials decorated in our colors, engagement photos and a floral arrangement with 2 gold fish. It will also have our cardbox and guest book but just wondered what everyone else did.

Welcome Table = Sign In Table = Guestbook Table it just depends on where you're from as to what it's called.

We are displaying a Welcome sign with flowers and greenery, and then a smaller floral arrangement on the actual table. We will also have our card box and then our guestbook canvas displayed. Our welcome table has a chandelier displayed overhead, so I feel like that adds a lot in itself.

I had a gift table. Is that the same thing? We had a few pictures of us and a hurricane lantern with flowers plus my card box. The venue pretty much decided how it would look. I honestly don't think anyone payed attention to the decor at all.

@murriel... good call about doing things to size.

I have ours bought and ready to go, but no pictures.

We have our jenga block "guestbook," canvas prints of us, our future last name in marquee lights, white metal flowers, signs explaining the guest book, and a few other things.
