As selfish as it seems in a time like this, I just can’t believe this is happening. I’ve been planning my big day May 30th for almost 2 years. As selfish as it seems in a time like this, I just can’t believe this is happening. I’ve been planning my big day May 30th for almost 2 years. Been with my fiancé for over 8 years and just want to marry him. Now who knows if it’ll even happen. I was supposed to have my bridal shower April 19th and now with Trump’s latest press conference I don’t think that’ll be happening. Honestly this virus is ruining my life. I’m to the point where I am no longer excited about anything. I feel numb. Guess I’m just seeing what others are feeling and how you’re coping with everything?

We just made the decision to move our June wedding to October. I’m actually amazed, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that we actually decided. Now I’m just hoping we don’t have to postpone again! Good luck to everyone!!

    Hi Kayse,
I moved my May 30th wedding to October 31st (Halloween). I’m hoping it doesn’t resurge again as well. I’m trying to mentally prepare for limitations and restrictions no matter what and praying that everyone who comes is just feeling safe and healthy. I don’t want to go through the pain and heartache of rescheduling again. Hopefully by fall, it won’t be nearly as bad as this round. Also- keep in mind they said a possible re surge in fall or winter so who actually knows which season this will resurge again. So many uncertainties for sure. Best of luck to you and all the brides to be out there!

We feel the same way our weddin was going to be next weekend. Now we moved it to September, every day we are sad, upset, frustrated and annoyed. I understand its for safety but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

We are just hoping not to move it again.
