Meal choices and rsvps

Samantha, on July 10, 2021 at 3:28 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
We decided not to do room blocks and are in the process of ordering invitations and RSVPs. We aren't doing a wedding website either. Since we're having a plated dinner do we put meal options on the RSVPs or do we call everyone and ask after they RSVP?

On your rsvp you should put the plated meal options so when your guests rsvp they mark which option they want. It’s too much work to go back and ask after the fact.

You have options on the reply card. Be as detailed as possible with meal selections. That way guests don’t order something that they would otherwise never choose. Example below.

    Please initial your choice:
    Prime Rib with herb butter

Chicken Picatta with lemon caper sauce

    Vegan Lemongrass vegetable stir fry

Children’s chicken strips with ranch or bbq sauce
