Meal Selection Indicator *edit*

Mrs.Ekstrom, on February 10, 2014 at 8:45 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

I need some ideas on how to indicate what my guest meal choice is on their place cards. There will be three total (Chicken, Pork and Kids), my colors are purple and grey. I don't want to just put a C, P, K on them but I want whatever I decide to do to be noticeable for the servers.

If I use colored gems, stickers etc. What colors would I use… purple grey and??? Grey gems are hard to find..

I am doing four different colored place cards that match my theme: light blue for chicken, teal for beef, dark blue for vegetarian and white for kids meal. The table number and name will be printed on white card stock that I cut out and attached to the place card, so it is just the backing that is a different color. Hope this makes sense.

Can you find a cute stamp, sticker or design a graphic for the cards?

Are you going to make menus for each place setting? You could make a certain number of menus with different entrees and put them at each setting

At my FSIL's wedding, she put rhinestone stickers in her colors on each place card. blue was steak, silver was chicken, and purple was fish. Worked like a charm Smiley smile

Those were my cousin's colors. She did light purple for chicken, dark purple for steak, and gray for vegetarian. It seemed to work well for the staff.

Saw this on pinterest, you could use your wedding colours to indicate their meal choice. I'm assuming you would want something other than a butterfly though... lol

I found this seller on etsy. You can even customize the colors. Etsy is great!

I used different color markers to make dots on the back of each one.. my colors were different colors of blue and ivory, and I tried to stay close to that, so blue was salmon, silver was beef and dark green was our vegetarian pasta.

Like CharChar, at my stepbrother's wedding they used rhinestones in the corner of each place card to indicate the food preference.
