Laurie
Dedicated August 2020

Meal selection

Laurie, on March 22, 2020 at 7:28 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
Since I've had to postpone my reception from April to August, I'm going to send out invitations again. Is it frowned upon to change the food choices on the new invites? Some people had previously responded but not everyone. Opinions??

I don’t think so, because so many people do different menus based on the season. You can just tell people the spring options aren’t available for summer if people ask why you changed them.

I don’t think so! Few people will remember what the first options were anyway.

Changing the date would necessitate changing the menu, to me.

No, I think it is fine. Many people might not even remember what they selected.

Most people understand what's going on with the virus affecting everything. With the date update card, you can send food selection insert with that if the menu has changed or they may have forgotten what they chose.
Anyone who doesn't respond, follow up with them over the phone or email.
