Meaning behind wedding date

Hey guys I was wondering if there was a meaning behind your wedding date that you choose... Our wedding date (6/4/2016) was very hard to choose I'm the type of person that wanted to get married on our actual anniversary of when we started seeing each other so there wouldn't be two anniversaries to celebrate which would of been valentine's day...But I didn't want it to be corny or unorginal...Plus was pretty sure we wouldn't have all the guest there due to it being valentine's day...So we had several dates that had a meaning behind the date but we finally choose 6/4/2016....I have 2 kids before my FH came into our lives when my youngest was 11 mths old... So our wedding isn't only us vowing to being with each other but a ceremony to unify our family (he's adopting my kids) So the 6 is for the years we've been together on our wedding day and the 4 is for the Four of us unified as a whole family! 5 years when he purposed x's the 4 of us is 20 and the 4 of us x's 4ever is 16 so 6/4/2016

No special meaning for us - it almost was though. We almost chose to have our day be May 13, 2016 - Friday the 13th. When he first asked me out many years ago, it was May 13th on a Friday the 13th! So that correlated nicely. But, in the end we were too impatient and wanted a Saturday wedding, so April 2 it is!

We also almost did March 26, but that's my parents' anniversary and they have a crap marriage soooo .....

My date was special because of the time of year/season. I met my Fi around Thanksgiving many years ago and the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas was the most amazing courtship and the start of several years of wonderful Christmases while we dated until he popped the question last Christmas Eve. So when we started planning, I had no doubt I wanted a December/Christmas wedding and the week before Christmas seemed like the best time to do it without totally inconveniencing all our guests.

@centerpiece my birthday is January 30th!

We knew we wanted a wedding in October since it's not too hot or too cold in Texas around that time. We didn't want to do it next year so we settled on 2017 so we can save up a bit more money. We chose the Sunday the 8th because we didn't want to have it to early or too late in the month. It's also the day before Columbus day and some friends do have that Monday off. I wish I had a cool story to go along with our date.

Our wedding date is a Saturday when the venue was available, my work was closed and all my vip's could be there. I originally wanted the next weekend but one of my girls would not have been able to be there so we bumped it earlier!

My date is the day we got engaged on! plus I kinda liked all the sevens being in the date and the fact its a thursday makes the wedding cheaper. lol. lots of random reasons for mine!
