Mediterranean Cruise

Lavender, on January 22, 2018 at 4:40 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8
Hi guys! My FH and I are hoping to do a mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon, but would like to book it all without a travel agent. Any tips? It would be greatly appreciated!

Just book it directly through the cruise line? Usually they have their own excursions that guarantee the boat won't leave without you - if you book excursions through a 3rd party, they don't give you that guarantee, but may be cheaper. Trip Advisor is great for that.
We took our Med Cruise through Norwegian and it was lovely

Vacationstogo.com lists all the differeny options for Meditterenean cruises but be sure to look up reviews. We are most likely booking one through Royal Carribean or Norwegian. Warning: The reviews for MSC cruise line seem pretty awful so I'd try to stay away from them.

It should be pretty easy to book directly with the cruise line. I would recommend Princess or Celebrity -both lovely, classy cruise lines that will be perfect for your honeymoon.

Why? Travel agents give kickbacks on the cost. I am quite capable of booking my own cruises but I would never ever do it. My agent kicks back 8% in shipboard credit.

Book online with a good agent and you'll get perks.

My FH and I got engaged in a cruise in the Mediterranean with Norwegian. Its our second cruise with them and we absolutely love it. Our fkrst one started in Venice and finished in Barcelona and it was AMAZING. This second cruise started and ended in Venice and took us through the Greek Islands mostly. I totally recommend Norwegian they are lots of fun!

We booked ours on Celebrity through vacationstogo.com! Really easy and they have great customer service in case you do have questions or need to change something. We also got a ton of booking deals (room upgrade, onboard credits and drink packages included) because we kept an eye out for booking specials.

My fiancee and I just booked our honeymoon on Norwegian Cruise June 2019 that will be leaving Venice and traveling to the Greek Islands and then back to Venice. Kind of sounds like the same cruise you were just on. Any good recommendations on excursions to do or to stay away from? Just a little knowledge, I love to drink wine and we do like the beach as well as exploring! Any tips would be great. Thank you !
