Meet the Maids

Mrs.Ekstrom, on March 4, 2015 at 6:04 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4

My sister is getting married in July and we are doing a meet the maids frame and I need your help on what to write. I don't want anything too long because we are only using a 4x6 frame and we are adding a photo to put a face to the explanation. The bridesmaids are each writing their own so I need to know if we should write them from our point of view or my sisters. Any help would be great.

    What is meet the maids?

You just put that out somewhere for people to read?

I actually used that same picture to explain to my girls what meet the maids was. Smiley laugh

I'm planning on just writing everything in the 3rd person. "Ali has Beth's best friend since 3rd grade. She currently works at ______," etc.

@SK725, yes, you just put that out for people to read so they can get to know who your bridesmaids are. Since they put a lot of time into the wedding as well, it's another way to honor them. A lot of the guests don't know them like they know the bride/groom. I'm also doing a meet the men frame.

I think writing from the bridesmaid's point of view is awesome. It's like she's introducing herself to the audience and she can reveal the information she feels comfortable letting others know about herself.
