Meeting with our caterer & event coordinator and...

We are having our menu tasting so yayyyyy!!! 👏👏👏
But we are also discussing rescheduling/postponing, which our coordinator is already aware of.

I’m wondering what questions I should bring to the table. I’ve been so overwhelmed recently this shifting gears and contacting all of our vendors and venues about rescheduling I haven’t been able to think clearly lol

Our wedding is 4/3/21 but we did our menu tasting in January. Our schedules are crazy & I wanted to mark this off the list. Our caterer had a list of food they offer so we got to choose the ones we wanted to try & delete the ones we didn’t. This really helped narrowing it down as what to serve. Our heads were swimming with all the good food but the caterer was awesome & helped with the process of the menu. She thought of things we hadn’t even talked about. She asked about the details of the wedding, the venue & our vision of it to get a feel of what food to serve. I really didn’t have any questions for her since I had no idea what to ask! See if they have a list of what they offer so you & your FH can narrow it down.

Thanks...upon reading this will a very full belly and leftovers to boot...

We did start out with a list of menu options and we chose from those. We tried 5 different entrees! And found 3 that we really love. Our coordinator was able to recommend substitutions and accompaniments for certain plates, etc. It was really good! Regardless of being something to check off of the list, it was an experience that helped ease our tired hearts at the moment. I’m hoping things get better by Spring. We’re postponing until May in hopes that’s enough time to resume a somewhat “normal” plan.

Yummy! Tasting are a delicious task to check off. My DH hasn't been too involved in most things but the tasting got him very interested. Looking forward to the real deal next year.

Yes! Considering we haven’t been out to a served dinner in months, this was certainly a well deserved treat! Looking forward to next year!
