Our wedding isn't over Memorial Day, but we are invited to one that Sunday and the bride & groom haven't cancelled yet.

Planning on having my wedding the week after yours! Planning on sending our invites out and pushing forward as normal. No plans to postpone or cancel our wedding at this time.

I'm on May 23rd in WV which seems to have the smallest number of cases but they closed all restaurants and bars for the "foreseeable future" which includes my venue - pushing forward for now but am looking at dates in August just in case. Nearly all of my 120 attendees are driving, not flying, but I have LOTS of 65+. Cannot decide what to do! Really wanted a May wedding and I feel selfish for trying to stick with that plan.

Hi guys! We are supposed to get married on May 16 in Maryland. Our
venue told us that as of right now, the venue is still going as is with
May weddings. For those getting married in March and April, they are
giving couples two options: to have the wedding but only up to 50 guests
(that includes vendors) or to postpone. We have not had to make that
decision yet but we were trying to come up with a plan b to still have
the legal ceremony on the same date and have the reception at a later
time. It looks like this will not be able to happen either because the
city has stopped issuing marriage licenses for the foreseeable future.
We already sent out invitations. I am not sure what to do.

    It
is tough. I feel angry, disappointed, helpless, frustrated, selfish for
worrying about a wedding when there are people who are are worrying
about how they will keep a roof over their head and food on the table,
and a whole bunch of other emotions.

We had most of the planning done before everything really went haywire. So, we're doing the last pieces slower than usual, but getting them done. Really just playing it by ear.

This is so close to my situation in GA. Same date and guest count so thanks for sharing! I’m definitely nervous and asking my vendors about backup plans. Best wishes to all the May brides!

My wedding is May 24 in Savannah,GA. Everyone is coming from out of town. We have been together for 6 years and living together for 3. We are going ahead and still planning on keeping the date. We might wait until mid-April to re-evaluate the situation. Only time will tell if the situation gets better or our state will be fully quarantined. Good luck everyone and god bless.

My wedding is set for Ireland for May 25- haven’t postponed yet but have looked into dates for August.. fingers crossed we can keep it as is since getting people to travel in the summer will be super hard especially since most people already booked travel! Ugh!

We decided to postpone our May 16, 2020 wedding to March 6, 2021 so that hopefully this virus will calm down by then. I'd rather wait a little longer to have all the guests feel safe to be around others and travel and be able to have fun!
