Men's wedding bands

Hi ladies -- I've seen (and loved) all of the ring posts with pictures, but haven't seen much regarding bands for men. My FH is a little overwhelmed with the options (gold vs manmade materials, mostly) and I'm hoping for some inspiration. What have y'all chosen and why? Pictures? Thanks!

FH picked a titanium band with 3 tiny diamonds. It's different than what I thought he would choose, but we both really like it.

My FH really wanted a meteorite ring. It was something he mentioned before we were even engaged. We looked at the ones on etsy, but he ultimately decided on this David Yurman meteorite ring. Now we just need to pick mine out.

Crystal- I have the women's version of that wedding band! I love it.

Whatever you do, do NOT get Titanium. It scratches and the plating comes off. My original wedding band was ruined within 2 months and I had to get a new one. I went with gold.

My e-ring is mixed metal, so we went with a mixed metal band also! FH is so excited to wear it, it's so cute.

Working with a designer now! FH wanted me to know the struggle of choosing the perfect ring so he doesn't want to know anything about it haha. He loves nature so I went with a bentwood ring. The blue will be turquoise inlay to mimic the blue of my engagement ring, the dark lines will be white gold, and the lighter brown in the center will be a jasper stone from his grandma's necklace. My wedding band is from my great grandma, so I wanted his to be sentimental as well. Now I just have to decide on these 3 widths/designs!

I don't have a picture, but my fiance chose a white gold band. It's got a brushed texture to it, though. And it's light-weight, it doesn't feel very heavy.

@Dana... I'd take him ring sizing... Not that you don't know his size, but they have the different widths... Many times guys will prefer a different width over another... so he can tell you which width he likes without giving away the surprise.

DH's ring is white gold, classic style with milgrain edge. He wasn't interested in trendy or modern styles, so he only tried on classic/traditional styles when we went shopping. We went with 14k gold for price and durability.

I told him to try on different widths at different stores. Those were just an example; the jewelry designer can go down to 3mm and up to 10mm. I told FH to pick what felt most comfortable to him, what looked the best in his opinion and then the design can be modified from there. I personally like the thinner band as well!

Definitely go for a cheaper ring!! Most men are not used to wearing jewelry, so there's a high risk to for it to break or be lost.

I also found some plain "white" tungsten bands as beater bands (for both of us) on Amazon (prime!) for about $20 each. Not sure we'll keep them. I found the pictured on Eternal Tungsten for $118 engraved after $35 a promo code - FH will probably wear something like this as his everyday ring and I'll probably get him a platinum one for nicer occasions.

Everything evolved from our everyday preferences. My e-ring is white gold, because that's my strong preference in all my jewelry - I hardly own any yellow gold! And we want my wedding band to match the e-ring, and his band to match my set and his watches....so white gold all around!

FH isn't big on flashy jewelry either, so we got him a simple white gold band with a hammered effect (it's custom-designed, so no pictures yet). He likes the way that the hammered effect ages, and that's as fancy as he really wanted to get.

I think a few people have already posted the same or a similar ring. Tungsten with gold edges. I picked several that appealed to me and then shared with DH. He picked from those. He didn't have any interest in researching rings for himself so I had to give him some direction.

We are melting down my late father's gold wedding band and re-engraving it.

My e-ring has my late mother's diamond so it "matches" in a sentimental way, I guess.

Hey, the materials were free at least!

My FH picked out the traditional gold band. I was willing to splurge for some bling but not his style.
