Mexico Honeymoon - Excellence VS Beloved (both Playa Mujeres)

Has anyone stayed at Excellence or Beloved - Playa Mujeres? What did you like, what did you not like?

Both are beautiful but we're leaning towards Excellence because it has more amenities. We're doing 10 days so we want to get the most out of it. Our biggest downfall with Beloved is that they only have 4 restaurants.. for 10 days I think that will get old quick.

    I stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres about 7 years ago for just a getaway, not a honeymoon. It was lovely. I was there with a friend and we both mentioned how romantic it would be if we were there with a significant other. Food and entertainment was great. Suites were clean and the staff was professional. I would absolutely go back... perhaps for a mini moon. My only advice would be that if you're not used to staying in one place for an entire trip you may get bored after 4 or 5 days. It's safe in the resort--but not sure it would be outside of the three entrance gates.

    We're going to Excellence Playa Mujeres! I couldn't be more excited. I haven't been before, but my parents go every other year with their friends and rave about it. FH and I knew we wanted a lazy beach honeymoon so we took their recommendation and never looked back. One less decision on our plates!

    @Amanda - we're looking for a lazy, on the beach honeymoon too! haha. after all this planning - I think we deserve it!

    I went to the Excellence for a wedding a few years ago and it was one of the best resorts I have ever been to!!!
