Michaels bouquets?

Brittany, on February 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
Has anyone used these instead of real flowers for the MOH and BB and or bridal bouquet?
My thought is they have my colors
They're pretty.
And can be used around the house after for spring and summer decor for anyone who wants to keep them.
Plus they are on sale right now so that's a bonus.

I'm only using fake flowers. I found that some of the online pics can be very deceiving as to the actual size. If you have a Michaels near you, I suggest you go look at them in person to see the actual size or just order 1 to make sure ites something you really like.

Do they have them in the store you can go look at? I am just worried about the size, I buy the fake flowers and make arrangements at my house and love them. I went with real flowers for the wedding though

I buy these all the time when they're on sale for around my house! Some of them get a little squished so I recommend buying them in stores if possible but if not then just go for it!

For my first wedding my mom used individual flowers from there to make mine, and it was stunning. She also made my veil from supplies there and that was 11 years ago. I still have both even though I divorced that scumbag. Both pieces still look new. I would say go for it. It will save you a ton of money from the florist. And you'll have them forever.

Yes there's a store right down the road. I saw them in stores last week and was debating on going back today to get them. I think I will!

I actually saw these in store and thought they were beautiful. Was actually thinking of using them for my bridesmaids and Jr bridesmaid instead of making them. It could save you money.

Check the quality in person, but it sounds like a great match! I really like that first bouquet. What are the colors you're looking for?

Agreed, go to the store and look to make sure you know what you're getting or get a sample bouquet first. But anyway, I'm doing all of my flowers myself using fake stems I will put together - we did this for my cousin's wedding and it turned out great; I still have my bridesmaid bouquet as home décor.

She went to Pat Catan's and used their "premium" silk flowers - note that most stores, even Walmart, have both higher and lower quality flowers to buy. I'd assume the bouquets fall into the high quality category but you should look for yourself at the material - should be realistic looking and silky, not like cheap fabric, and the more premium ones usually have more detail - the ones I looked at at Walmart last weekend, they had 2 types of lilies, some just plain fabric and some that looked like they'd been airbrush-painted with different shades of color and had more realistic leaves as well.

I'm using all fake flowers. They will photograph well (as long as you don't use the super cheap and obviously fake flowers. You'll know which ones those are.) and they're more cost effective and we can keep or reuse them. It also lets you not have to worry about arranging flowers the night before the wedding or dealing with any wilting flowers. If you want to use the premade bouquets, do it! They are so pretty and easy to work with.
