View Quoted Comment We live southeastern mi about 3 hours away. All our family will be traveling there. We already have a huge Airbnb to accommodate immediete family and the rest are camping or getting hotels. Very small intimate wedding as this is both of our second marriages. The “reception” will be back at the Airbnb inside/outside. Just looking for a beach space to rent for a couple hours for the actual wedding ceremony and pictures. We already have the chairs rented decorations and arbor so a venue is kinda outta the question bc they require a larger amount of guests or make you include their package of decorations chairs arbor officiant etc and we have already booked all of that and put deposits and signed contracts. So at this point looking for a public beach or park to do it at... problem is I have permission and the forms permits filled out but all are saying bc of water levels no guarantee there’s much beach area left. So I’m looking for places overlooking the water I guess that have breakealks or lots of grassy space or beaches that are not “flooded”
