Micro-wedding with family only - processional?

Gwendolyn, on May 19, 2020 at 7:46 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4

Hi! My wedding will be immediate family only (my mom, grandparents, aunt, uncle, two young cousins - as well as FHs parents, sister, and niece and nephew). I see a lot of people mention family members walking down the aisle. . I thought it would be the officiant enters, the groom, the two bubble girls (they walk in and then to their seats), and then me - everyone else would be seated before. Since the wedding is so small, half of the group would be walking.

Is that weird? Anyone else not have family walking?

I don’t think it’s weird at all! You can do whatever works for you Smiley smile

I don't think it's weird either if you don't want all of them walking

Thank you both! I've been worried it was weird or disrespectful to have all of our family just come in and get seated. More overthinking!

I think that's perfect!! It would actually be more weird to have half of more of your guests process in down the aisle and then need to go find their seats! Smiley laugh

Also since your ceremony will be intimate and family only, they're all guests of honor. Smiley heart
