Beautiful. I also have a pearl engagement ring but when the jewelers told my FH how fragile they are he also got me a traditional engagement ring. I definitely suggest something more for everyday wear. As my pearl l ready has many nix in it and over the last few years I haven't worn it that much.

@Alexus, love your ring! It's so beautiful! I also felt very on edge about my ring at first. It's more hardy than you think! I take it off when I wash my hands and if I know I'll be doing something with my hands that could damage it. I just wear my band on those days (plain white gold band with no embellishment). I like a plain band with my ring because I love how unique it is, and I don't want anything competing with it. I take it to be cleaned regularly and the jeweler removes the pearl and cleans it and resets it. I would say avoid water and just be conscious when you're doing something rough or messy. With your band, i would say have a custom band to mirror the leaf pattern made or do a plain band. I think an eternity band with that might compete with the beautiful detailing!

I'm love it!! I've always wanted a pearl ring-it's beautiful! I would go somewhere and try a few different bands to see how it looks-plain bands, more complicated ones-enjoy it!!

Mikimoto has instant name recognition, but pearls do not take the daily abuse diamonds do. I'd buy a CZ and wear that everyday. On special occasions, pull out the pearl engagement ring. That's all I can think of.

Take your ring to a jeweler... not a chain, but a private jeweler. They can usually make custom rings. They can make a band to match.
