Milk bath as part of the boudoir?

Has anyone had a milk bath photoshoot as part of their boudoir shoot? My photographer and I are thinking about the combination. I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience.

Haha. She is actually very much a woman. It was an idea we were toying with because she likes experimenting. I do like the idea of plain water too. I've never seen any of it until she asked, that's why I asked for opinions. Thank you!

I'm guessing the milk is so that the nips and vag are covered?

My mind is picturing a woman in a bath of actual milk. Which makes me stomach feel all weird. Not attractive in the least, to be honest. My vote is for no.

I've seen it for a maternity shoot but you could do it! It doesnt seem as sexy as some of the other shots you could do!

I like the idea of lots of bubbles and you could use the bubbles to cover some areas.

It's pretty common around here. I know several people that have done it recently. I didn't realize how weird it might seem to others haha

It is weird how different areas have different things that are normal. I have never heard of this before in my life. I don't get why it's milk. I get how a tub picture could be sexy. But what's sexy about laying in milk?

I know. This website makes me feel like I live in the Twilight Zone sometimes. Smiley tongue The milk bath boudoir shoots I have seen have a lot of flowers in the tub, and are supposed to look very feminine (at least I assume that's what they were going for). I've seen some where the water isn't milky, but different colors, like if they used a bath bomb too.

The different colors in the water seems less weird. I think it's just the idea of milk that is giving me the heebie jeebies

I think the rose petals and normal water route would be way more appealing. You could have an American Beauty-type moment. But that's just me.

The milk thing makes me think of cows, dairy farms and stinkyness (that much milk, powdered or not must smell) ick....

I keep thinking of Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Hunstman lol. If Chris Hemsworth was in there I'd get in.

LG- I think thats' the reason to do it- so you can be nekkids- and be in water. But I feel like there are other ways to achieve this.

I just googled it and it looks kind of cool! I'd ask your photographer for more info - do they just want to try something new, or have they done it before and it looked awesome?

A total stab in the dark here - but maybe because the water is opaque it lets you play around more with with your body and highlighting curves? I'd ask your photographer for a little more explanation and pros / cons Smiley smile

Ok...I was able to get a couple pics of mine. I had to put some emojis over the face, because you know....internet.

Some of the comments made me laugh! We only used about a gallon of milk and filled the rest of the bath with water, so it was a little opaque. It really wasn't gross at all. We did it at the end of the shoot and I just showered right away. The shoot was in my home and our photog is a professional who is also an acquaintance (no worries...not a friendor! Had a real contract, etc....)

I personally loved it, but I totally get it that it might not be for everyone.

Milk baths are more breast feeding or maternity shoots most use a powder milk (they make soy powders for these bath) not just cows milk
