My fiance and I are going on a short mini-moon directly following the wedding, and go on a bigger adventure when we have the money and time to plan it. Since we live (and are getting married) in the DC area, we thought Charlottesville would be a nice, relaxing place to spend a couple days. We love touring wineries, and have heard good things about the wineries in that region. Does anyone have suggestions of where to stay that would be relaxing, romantic, and semi-close to some wineries? I've noticed there are lot of B&Bs but I worry about the lack of privacy (I don't really want to dine with other guests), and they don't have as many amenities as bigger hotels (pools, etc.). Thanks!
