Minimoon in October

ANGELA, on July 13, 2016 at 5:20 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 10

I am not certain if there is a post about this but I am looking for a place to have a minimoon. My FH just found out he has to go back to work (mandatory) three days after our wedding. We figured we could go on a quick getaway after the wedding and then have our official honeymoon later. We are looking at places that are not too far from Delaware, like not farther than 6 hours. Any suggestions for a romantic, fun filled getaway location?

Buck County, PA is gorgeous in October with wonderful B&B's. Check out in and around New Hope. Some things to do: Shopping in New Hope or Peddler's Village, Bowman's Hill Tower, Washington Crossing, a drive along the river, cross the bridge into Lambertville, NJ (Google for more). Have fun!

I was also going to suggest Bucks County. The Woolverton Inn is a great honeymoon spot, and you can bike or walk into new hope from there. New hope/Lambertville are definitely the best areas to stay

NYC could be a lot of fun depending on what you do/ how sick of it you are. If you'd be willing to go a little farther and take a flight, you could fly down to Savannah, GA- it's beautiful, shouldn't be an expensive flight, and you could easily do a lot in only a couple of days!
