Minted Free Addressing

lilchameleon, on February 8, 2018 at 1:41 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
Does anyone know if Minted always does the free addressing service? Or is this a limited time deal? I don’t want to order invitations yet cause I’m more than a year out, but I also don’t want to address them myself (or pay to have it done). 😂

It's always offered. The catch seems to be that they print their logo on the back of the envelopes. I'm curious to know if they use your guests' addresses for marketing purposes.

It's always included. Having your return address printed on the back is an extra fee, I think it was like $40 extra for the return address.

I tested it for my Christmas Cards to decide if I was going to use it for wedding STDs and invites.

Not a single person off my XMAS card list has received any additional marketing.

I can tell you that I ordered my STDs on Monday evening, approved the proof and addresses on Tuesday, and it is projected to be at my house tomorrow. The turn around experience I have had with minted has been amazing.

The site says it's a limited time offer, but they've offered it for a solid year now. I think the return address on back is like $35 right now. As far as I know, the only additional marketing is if you opt into sharing the artist's trademark on the back of your invite.

Everytime I have checked it was always offered except for the printing of the recent address which you have to pay for

Its something that they say is limited, but I have seen it advertised very often in the past few months. You and I are both spring 2019 brides, and its too early to be ordering invitations. Your venue and a lot of other things can change before then. Minted offers constant deals, so even if guest addressing goes off of being free, there will be a coupon to save you probably the same amount of money. Be sure to subscribe to their emails for the best deals!

Wait to order, and don't worry about free addressing go away.

I thought I could just upload my Knot address sheet to them and it would import, but looks like they use an entirely different format, so it'll take me like 6 months to get all these addresses in anyway, lol.

I have used them for my save the dates and I was SO pleased with the results! The quality, turn around time, and options offered are my favorite out there. Their logo on the back of the envelope is small and not much more than what most companies would do. I think their privacy policy keeps them from using addresses for anything but addressing your envelopes.

They came out great for our save the dates and invitations. It was pretty easy to change my existing spreadsheet into their format to upload them all.

I plan on using them, but I'll wait till Fall to order, since the addressing thing most likely will stick around. I ordered samples from Shutterfly (which took over Wedding Paper Divas), and Vistaprint, and I really disliked all the invites, except for the ones from Minted. I'm pretty sold on the foil pressed invites.

I know this is an older post but for anyone who has used the pre-addressed envelopes, did it cost more mail?? There's a warning on the site which states "ALL SCRIPT" (or something like that) addresses will cost extra but it's not clear as to what "all scrip" is referring to.
