Minted wedding website help

Madison, on May 3, 2018 at 9:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I've tried googling but I can't find anything so I thought I'd turn here to see if any of you have dealt with this! So I'm trying to upload one of our engagement photos to our website (which is through minted), but it is coming out so blurry!! I'm thinking the photos might be too high resolution to put on the website. Has anyone dealt with this? Or does anyone know a way that I can make the resolution not so high in hopes that it will work??? Any help is appreciated!

I have not worked with Minted before. Have you attempted emailing the website it staff? They may be able to help you adjust the resolution if that is the problem.

Did you try resizing it? If you have a PC, you can easily resize photos in Paint.

We are using Minted. I love their websites and their designs. Likely, if your photo is showing up blurry, it is because it is too low of a resolution, not high. Try to find a way to convert it to a higher pixel or contact your photographer (they should be able to provide highest res for you). The pictures Minted uses on their sites are generally quite large, so the lesser pixel the lower quality.

If you are still having trouble you should call their customer service line they are super helpful. I had trouble with my website and they got it all straightened out, they even gave me expidited shipping on my save the dates to make up for it.

This happened to me too! So frustrating! Sometimes it was just a glitch 'cause I'd re-upload the same photo a few minutes after and it wouldn't be blurry. Some of mine were too large though, and I just resized the photo (cropped it - hardly took anything off) and it worked.

We had to crop ours to clear that glitch up... very little had to be cropped...

Thanks everyone for your responses! I was going to contact customer service, but then I tried the cropping and it worked! Thanks so much for your help, it looks so much better now.

Do you know what resolution you used for a better quality photo on minted? I have a hq photo but even when I crop, it gets worse/stays the same quality wise. My original photo looks a lot better.
