I know there are about 100,000,000 blogs and articles about this topic, but nothing actually answers my questions specifically. I was in a wedding and we did this and the bride just told us "dark navy, short". She didn't care about fabric, store, brand, or anything else!! For her, and a lot of brides, it actually turned out FABULOUS.
My dilemma: I am doing a shade of red. I ordered swatches in the specific color I was thinking (burgundy) and I got three totally different reds. I'm talking like one was a really deep, almost purple, wine red, one cherry red, and one deep red. So, I chose which of those I liked the most and went with that store. I told the girls to go to the site (JJsHouse), filter to knee-length, burgundy, chiffon and pick a dress! ........... Well, two of them asked if I would just choose for them, one asked me to give her some of my fave options, and now the ones I'm finding don't really coordinate with the one girl that did choose!
I'm not a picky bride at all, but I do want them to like their dress and be comfortable in it and I do want it to flow well. Does it make sense for me just to pick their dresses for them within their budget and comfort realm? Any advice is helpful!! Has anyone done this before? What did you do/are you doing for your bridesmaids?
Bonus Question: Are you putting your MOH in a little bit different of a dress (different length, style, color, embellishment, etc.)??
