Missing photos

We got married! Everything was wonderful, the rain held off for our outdoor wedding! One bummer was that my mom was late to the venue and we didn’t get pics before and only have 2-3 posed pics. I know we can’t go back and change time- any ideas of how I can savor our moments? Should we recreate? Just do something special for her next holiday and take pics?

    I don't think there is anything wrong with recreating it! Putting your dress back on and taking nice pictures outside would be sweet to do with your mom.

    You could recreate if you want, but you’ll always know that those aren’t your wedding photos. That defeats the purpose to me. I would just be thankful for the photos you have and get some pictures together at your next event.

    I agree. It did rain for our wedding and we didn't get a lot of the pictures I wanted, but the ones I do have are beautiful. Sure, they don't have the scenic backdrop, but it's our wedding. I thought about recreating some of the portraits, but the candid shots are better anyway!

    It's really up to you! You can definitely re-create, for picture purposes and/or you could also have some special pictures taken at the next occasion, too Smiley smile

    I feel like holiday pictures this winter or whenever the next special occasion might be, would be really fun! Photos from your first holidays as a married couple would be super memorable. Smiley heart

    You could put a call out to some of the guests. Maybe you posed for photos during the reception. Sometimes the impromptu photos are better than the posed ones. We received some great photos from after the ceremony that the photographer did get.

    Thanks! I’ll talk to her and see if she wants to. If not, I’ll come up with a reason to get all dolled up and hired a photographer
