Mix and match chairs and tables

Recently I saw a a picture on pinterest of a wedding where the head table where the wedding party sat had different chairs than the guest tables as soon as I saw it I thought it was genius that way I can get the expensive chairs I really want but only for my bridal party and get my second favorite cheaper chairs for everyone else. But then I thought would this really be a good decision aesthetically and would it make me look cheap?? What do you guys think I'd love to hear your feed back! Btw (I also want to do farm tables for the head table and banquet tables for the guest)
