I am debating using mismatched vintage plates for the tables. If I do, do you think colored flowers are too much? Here are some examples of the plates our venue has. For flowers I'm thinking ivory, blush, dusty pink, muted plum, and burgundy. Some ideas:

The color of the flowers I think fits our vintage barn feel, but I'm worried that it may be clashing with the flowers. Should I just stick with white flowers then or does it become to bland with the ivory linens?

To answer your question, I think they look great together. I find a local business that rents vintage table ware and fell in love but unfortunately it doesn't go with my theme.
