Mixing Gold and Silver - Centerpieces

What are your opinions on mixing gold and silver?

My "theme"/vibe is antique/vintage. I have silver platters for dessert and hors d'oeuvres. My table numbers are antique looking gold picture frames (like real looking metal gold, not plastic/wood spray painted yellow gold). And I have different silver (some dark, some brighter) candlestick holders.

My centerpieces are antique books with the table number and either an oil lamp or a candlestick or 2.

Do you think mixing gold and silver in this way is ok?

I think this is fine. There are now rings and other jewelry that mix silver and gold. So it's not an issue anymore.

I think that’s fine! Mixing metals is a very popular thing now actually. I love the look, I really think silver and gold match with pretty much everything, including each other

Absolutely. Gold and silver are really just a no no when it comes to jewelry unless of course it's two tone pieces.

Yes, this is fine. Mixing metals is more popular now than it used to be. I think what you're describing will be beautiful. I had gold china and silver flatware and it looked fine together.
