Mixing It Or Matching It

I've been in weddings that bridesmaids wear all sorts of combinations. Same dress and color, same dress but different colors, same color but different dress.

My only piece of advice is to make sure they all share something in common to create cohesion. If you plan on doing different colors, make sure to pick the same dress or designer.

I'd wanted matching, at least the color, but my bridesmaid waited until the last moment and we couldn't get the right color from Azazie in time. So MOH is from Azaie and bridesmaid's is from Torrid

We gave each of our bridesmaids a color (all different shades of mauve,) a length, and the website. They will choose their own styles.

I originally wanted different colors but it started to overwhelm me, so I chose 1 color and they will choose their own styles.

We mixed it. I let them choose whatever they wanted

We're doing one color, but the BMs are free to choose any dress in that particular color! I like this because then they get to wear something they feel most comfy in!

For my best friend’s wedding we were given a color palette and told to choose whatever we wanted. For my wedding all of the girls are wearing some kind of gold, but different dresses. The first picture is of my friend’s wedding, the others are of my bridesmaids dresses.

I’ve always wanted them to wear the same color, but then I have seen weddings where they’ve had different color dresses on, Also should I do the MOH in one color then everyone else in another ?

My colors are blush pink and navy blue
The groomsmen will be in navy suits so I wanted all the bridesmaids in blush pink.
All long length, but seeing as everyone has a different body type I selected 27 different styles from azazie. As much as its 'my day' and they're okay with wearing what I pick, I still want them to be comfortable and not self-conscious

I picked out one specific color and style! I did one color blue because my dress is a specific color that not every shade will match with. And I did one style because when looking at other people’s photos, it distracts me when everyone has a different dress on. But I’ve seen a lot of people do it the other way too and it all looks beautiful

I personally hate the different colors (all preference) because I don't feel like they ever blend/match as well as the photos on Pinterest. SO my bridal party was told to choose a chiffon, long, Biscotti, dress from Davids Bridal. As long as it falls in that criteria, they can choose. There are like 80 options so everyone should find one they like.

My bms all have the same dress in different matching shades exactly matching my bouquet.

My Groom/ Groomsmen are going to be in Navy suites, so should I put the Bridesmaids/ MOH in a Lavender Blush & have a different style for the MOH ?
