Mob dress color

bellamae, on September 26, 2016 at 7:15 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21

What color is the MOB wearing in your wedding? My mom tried on a gorgeous dress yesterday in black with black sequins ok the top but it also came in a pretty taupe color with bronze sequins on the top. I steered her in the direction of not wearing the black just because I thought she would want to stand out a bit more but now I feel like a jerk. The dress is gorgeous on her I just thought the black was too dark. She has to order it still so I'll make sure she picks the one she likes but what color do MOBs usually wear?

My wedding colors are black and gold so I wouldn't have minded. If your colors are more springy it might be a little drastic. Mine ended up in a silver dress. My mom is in Royal blue

Let her wear what she likes and makes her feel good. I'm sure she looks amazing in both

My mom is wearing this gorgeous plum color. I love this dress as my dress also has rosettes on the bottom of it.

My mom already got a gold dress that is beautiful on her, but if she had loved a black one or finds on in the meantime that would be fine too. Let her wear whatever she wants to and feels comfortable and beautiful in.

My mom wore purple and my mother in law wore pink. It should be whatever they feel fabulous in.

If my mom decides she wants to come after all (long story, she threw a temper tantrum and said she won't be coming), she has a royal blue and silver dress. I let her dress herself because she's an adult.

The only objection to color I have for my wedding is white, because I don't want the attention to be drawn away from the bride. Our color is going to be navy blue, so there's no reason anyone other than the bride to be wearing white since that's not part of the color scheme.

You should let her wear what she wants. I dont think there is anything wrong with MOB wearing black but personally I woudnt in the spring. All you should do is remind your mom that it will be spring and then let her make the decision.

Dose she not want to get the taupe? Can she try on the taupe and see if she likes it better?

I really helped my mom with her dress. We where at JCpenny looking for a suit for my little brother and I saw it and told her to buy it (it was on sale and we where in a hurry) and I would return it if she didnt like it. She ended up loving it and it is very her. She originally wanted more muted color to go with our style, but I really wanted her to look like herself and not like a prop.

My mom just bought her dress and it is a charcoal color. FMIL is wearing navy blue. I say let them wear whatever color they want. I really dont think it makes a difference.

MOG is wearing black or charcoal grey. My mom hasn't picked her dress yet. I love black so I told them I'm fine with it.

The moms wear whatever color they like. My mom had picked out a lovely lavender pantsuit, my MIL wore a navy and burgandy pantsuit.

My mom wore a navy blue dress. She didn't want to wear black, and I kind of just let her run with whatever she wanted. It took a lot of shopping trips and she ended up buying it and getting it altered 2 days before my wedding.
