Traditional. I can't wait to be able to de-stress together! We love to travel and have decided to cut back on our trip planning prior to the wedding to save ourselves some money. The honeymoon should be a nice treat after it all Smiley smile

Traditional, we'll be leaving probably the next day after our wedding. My wedding is on a Saturday, so we'll leave on Sunday. Heading to Niagara Falls (WE live in Ontario, and got that GOOD view, HAHA)

We want to do traditional right after the wedding but it all depends on the money. If we manage to get enough to do what we really went right away then we will go or we have considered doing something small right after then later doing the big one.

I have no idea yet. FH is in charge of the honeymoon. He wants to do it directly after the wedding but he might not have the vacation time to do so because of other family events so we might have to wait a few months regardless.

Renewing and still never took a honeymoon. I cannot travel well so this is a challenge.

Modern basically: planning on a mini moon/3-4 day trip that we will leave for 2 days after our wedding and then have a honey moon within a few months/a year later!

Sort of modern? Our wedding will be on a Saturday afternoon/evening, but I really wanted to take a day to absorb everything and make sure everything is ironed out for the honeymoon before we go the following Monday. So not immediately after the wedding, but not too long of a wait afterwards either!

Traditional! But it's just because we can and we want that initial time alone together. But if we needed to save for it or something I think we'd wait for sure.

Modern. My sisters are coming in from Japan and Iceland and I want some time with them - and my niece and nephews also coming from Iceland. Plus it is just a couple weeks before Christmas so we will stay around home and spend time with my far flung family for a few days until they have to go back home - especially the sis with the little ones so they can have Christmas at home. Then we might go a way for the weekend but be back home for Christmas. We also are honeymooning in Disney and want to do the water parks so we are waiting til spring when it will be warm enough for that.

We're doing an in-state honeymoon, so it'll be the next day.

Modern: We are doing a mini-moon probably somewhere in the mountains in TN right after the wedding in July and then planning a 10 day trip to Iceland over the summer of 2020 around our 1st anniversary.

I'm going to say traditional because our wedding is over at 10PM and our flight leaves the next morning at 6:00AM so we won't have too much time in between! We are going to a beach resort in South Beach, Miami for a week. We have been to the Bahamas, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic together within the past couple of years so we wanted to do something a little more low key. We will probably take another Caribbean trip for our one year anniversary.
